THE NOT PERFECT
HAT CLUB
Hello :) we are doing the second blog for the not perfect hat club! So basically newton has lost his good behavior because he was tired of being hugged and cried over and over again so he
just lost it and he had tons of energy that was unused.After he jumped the fence he ran to the park and smelled a familiar scent. When he finally found his target…it was Jabber!( a snowflake kid)
Then jabber tried to do a fancy skateboard move but newton distracted him! Then he fell off his skateboard and broke his wrist and cracked his elbow. suddenly people started to panick! to Newton this was very confusing. Newton tried to walk away but… a lady caught him and said “You won’t be causing any more trouble!” and tied him to a post with her scarf. Then it started to snow and newton got soaked he was very sorry after the ambulance pulled away. After a while the lady came back and gave them to to Mrs. Jennia and Carl. After that they finally sorted things and newton was told that jabber would be ok. However Midge on the other hand was not so happy and was mad at newton for running away. Plus she was also mad because now they were going to take flyball classes. One of the questions that Ms.Thompson asked us why did Newton keep going once he jumped. Me and my other handy blog poster decided on that he always wanted to go to the park but he never did so he thought “Why don’t I just go I’m almost there?” so he went and he used up all of his energy get there so he was happy to get all of his energy out. But then of course he made jabber go to the hospital.

Remember to blog about the topics I emailed you about too! This isn't just a place to summarize, review the questions I sent you and see if the kids can record answers in the Week 3 comments!

Hi 5th graders!

I really liked your summary, but would love to hear your thoughts on the questions for the week. We are talking about things like gossip, making mistakes, having to apologize and flyball. Your ideas. suggestions and stories are needed! I look forward to reading more!

#NPHCblog

Each week, students will read three to four chapters of The Not Perfect Hat Club book. The #NPHCBlogIt team will have posted questions based on those chapters to encourage discussion and writing activities. Students will blog and/or Vlog, comment on one another’s posts, and post questions to the #NPHCBlogIt sites as well. We will also be doing a limited number of Twitter and Skype visits (dates to be determined) that you and your students are welcome to attend. The more the merrier!
