I would want to be Midge because I like the attention when I am doing something. Also because sometimes I am shy about what I am doing, just like Midge was about playing fly ball at the tournament. She also has some other personality traits the same I have. This is why I would want to be Midge. What it means to be not perfect is that no one is as good as someone thinks. Take yourself as a example you aren't good at some things, but you are good at certain things. That is what I think not perfect mean.

Hi Nick,
Yes, Newton never gives up, but he is learning to be honest about his limits. There are some things he just cannot change and that's okay. How about you? Not Perfect is something that is true about everyone. Even the very best superstars are not perfect and that's a good thing. Do you know why?

If I had to be one of the dogs I would be Newton because he is very fun and active. He also is very helpful and is really nice to Kylee and jabber . Plus Golden Retrievers are my favorite.

Hi Mitchell,
I love golden retrievers too! And I think you captured Newton's personality really well. He is a kind dog who loves to play and have fun. Are you like that too? If so, I bet it's fun to spend time with you!

Hi Rob,
I like that you understand Midge so well. She is sky and a little insecure because of her past. But she is learning to be more secure, as I think you are too! Never forget you are special and have things to share. It is true that not perfect means you are not good at some things, BUT the truth is no one is perfect at anything. Even a sports superstar like Michael Jordan makes mistakes. Why do you think mistakes are important?

If I were to be a dog in the Not Perfect Hat Club book, I would be Midge because Midge is a cute little dog that likes exercise and sleeping, just like me. I think what it means to be not perfect is to be different, or not the same as anybody else, as we are all different in our own way.

HI Alli,

Love that you and Midge have those things in common. I bet you also support your friends the way she supports Newton. I agree that we are all different (good thing), but one of the things that makes us the same is that we are ALL not perfect and that's a good thing.

I would be Newton because hes active and happy and he's loving, helping Newton was a dog who was abandoned by his old owner, he was lonely first then someone loved him. I would choose him because hes Very sweet, kind, helpful for Jabber and Kylie like me when my friends were going through a rough time i helped them by supporting them #NPCHBlogit

I would want to be Midge because she gets a lot of attention and love. Also me and Midge have a lot in common. We both love attention and are sometimes shy. But what we don't have in common is that she doesn't like to compete at first but then she is kinds like the hero in the fly ball tournament.

if i were to be one of the dogs in the not perfect hat club then i would want to be newton and meet a lot of new kids with Carl i would also like to be able to race because it sounds really fun and i know that he couldn't race for the rest of the day at the big competition but practices would be fun and trying to get better every time and maybe make it to division 1 or 2 and i could race as hard as i could and as happy as i could. and jabber was so forgiving so i wouldn't feel so bad and i would just be more gentle with him.

I would be Midge because she is not always on the team, and she isn't upset about it. She also shares character traits with me. To be not perfect is to be normal. No one is perfect. I'm really good at spelling but I'm clumsy and not very fast. That makes me not perfect.

In the not perfect hat club if I could be one of the dogs I would be Midge
because.Midge doesn't get into trouble like Newton and Midge gets freedom all day he sleeps, eats and walks around. But Newton has to be patient very patient around the "Not perfect Hat Club" kids. And that is what he does all day!! And Newton gets picked on a lot but Midge doesn't get picked on because he's more of a normal dog but Newton is a Therapy dog so every one picks on him.

"Not Perfect" Means that maybe your good at a sport but your "Not perfect". Like Tom Brady isn't perfect.

I would want to be Midge because she is shy, which I am sometimes shy. Another reason why I would want to be Midge is because she likes to sleep a lot, just like me.

I would be Newton because I would get to meet new friends. Newton would get to make human friends because his owners did not want him any more because he was not a good show dog. So his new owners where a therapist so he got to meet some kids.

If I were one of the dogs in "The Not Perfect Hat Club" I would be, Midge as well because if you don't know me very well I would be shy and not want to speak to anyone. And I am like Midge in other ways to like when my cat ran outside and came back later that day I said, "You ran away!" And that's just like when Newton jumped over the fence and Midge said, "You ran away!"
